How many social workers needed to change a light bulb?
A social worker (sw) has to check with the professional body standard, then have to check health and safety regulation, then write an innitial and core assessment, using Form ABCD.
The assessment has to be approved by the sw manager. By the time the manager approved the assessment, the professional body has dissolved, replaced by the new professional body with totaly different and new standards and different Form to fill.
This one sw then went off sick before submitting the report to panel. A new sw has to be allocated, then do a new assessment onthe same light bulb. when the report completed, the manager went off sick.
The manager who cover has to read the report and deal with complaint from the service user. an investigation has to be launched and the sw suspended. Investigation took months, by the time unconclusive summary was published, the government changed and the professional body was axed....
A few years later the whole nation read the case of the light bulb in a serious case review and Lord dopey of dopeshire was appointed to do inquiries....
Five years after the Lord Dopey inquiry, the light bulb appeared on BBC 2 Newsnight programme, but was not turned on to maintain its anonimity.

Thoughts on the Woolwich Murder
The brutal attack on a young British soldier in Woolwich, London, reminded me of the gory images from some conflict in Borneo and Madura years ago. It was savage, brutal, and threw us far from our senses of civilised humanity.
Having seen wars and conflicts back home did not make it any easier for me to digest what had happened in daylight on the street of London, in front of a primary school. I did however, think about how politicians and the British society reacted to such an inhuman behaviour. In a way, giving the label of terrorists to the two perpetrators is giving them the political status they wanted. So here is my simple thoughts on the Woolwich attack.
First my condolences to the family of Drummer Lee Rigby. He was a soldier, a son, a brother, a husband, and a father. After surviving wars as a soldier, what a horrible fate that he had to die on the street of London in a brutal attack by two crazy murderers!
This take me to my point: the two murderers are crazy criminals. They might claimed to be jihadist. They might claim to have political message to Britain and the rest of the "Westernised" world. But they are just crazy criminals, butchers of human beings. They are as sick as mass murderers who are now locked up under the Mental Health Act. Their act is no comparison to war.
So here's an idea: treat the two as crazy criminal! We have to refuse to give them the political status that they wanted. They claimed to be terrorists with religious message, but they are not. They are criminals with something wrong in their heads. Their ideas of Islam does not reflect the faith that most moslems believe. They are not jihadist fighting any war, they are crazy criminals. I think they need serious medications and straight jackets, maybe lobotomy and isolation cells.
What Michael Adebolajo and his fellow murderer wanted was to be taken seriously. Let us not take them seriously. They're not jihadists. As Monty Phyton's famous quote says, they are just two "very naughty boys!" Naughty boys should not be taken seriously, they should be grounded and ignored.
If they want publication, we should not give them. Let us ignore them! Tantrum is over, you are now grounded, be quiet and go to your naughty corner!
My message to Mr Cameron and UK politicians: let's not buckle to two naughty boys who had crossed the treshold of dangerousness. Treat them as they really are: criminals not political.

Home made wild garlic pesto
Foraging for wild garlic and make something out of it. Happy day!
So easy to make. Wild garlic (the leaves), toasted pinenuts, grated parmesan or Italian hard cheese, basil, salt and pepper, olive oil, mix all these together in food processor or use mortal and pestle. Taste and adjust, tip into a jar, add some olive oil on top, seal the jar. Apparently will keep in the refrigerator for 2-3 months.

The rubbish bin
She has been conditioned, and accepted her destiny, as the rubbish bin, the person people would come to unload their emotions and problem. She believes this is what she was born for. Her life is destined to help others feel better, to accept all the rubbish thrown at her and give love in return.
She thought she was complete and content. Then she realised that when she became too full and needed to unload, all the people around her ran away. "You are so strong and mature, I believe you will be able to solve your own problems. I cannot help you, you are much better than me. I admire you. You are the pillar of your family..... And by the way here are my rubbish I throw to you."
She did not feel better this time. She realised that she is the rubbish bin even for the person who should have been her carer, since she was nine. She suddenly realised why she was so independent, strong, high achiever. She lost her childhood at year three. She stopped being a child and became the rubbish bin.
She seek friendships with older people to replace her stolen childhood. She befriended the mountains, the tree and the ocean. She heard the black bird spoke.
Now she is a mother. She wished she could continue being a strong rubbish bin for everyone around her. For her son, her husband, her mother. She took on a career that care for others. It was her calling. She is the rubbish bin and she is proud to live her destiny.
She is full today. Too full to see anything else but the rubbish she collected, all the rubbish that others thrown at her. She cannot breathe. She is choking of rubbish. She tried to scream for help but those she begged for help just throw rubbish instead - with praised of how strong and wonderful she is. She is waiting for the local authority to collect the rubbish. They are not coming. She is alone, too full and broken. And people throw more rubbish. And more And more. She is drawning....
